As Remotion projects grow, systematic structure and optimization become essential.

Project structure: Place per-video directories in src/compositions/, reusable scene components in src/components/, and utilities (animation helpers, data fetchers) in src/lib/.

Performance optimization: (1) prefetch() remote assets to eliminate network waits during rendering (2) Resize images to needed resolution before use (3) React.memo() to prevent unnecessary re-renders per frame (4) --concurrency option for multi-threaded rendering.

Debugging: Navigate to specific frames in Remotion Studio's timeline to reproduce issues. Track per-frame values with console.log(frame), check detailed logs with --log=verbose flag.

CI/CD: Run npx remotion render in GitHub Actions with Chrome and FFmpeg dependencies cached. A typical pipeline uploads rendering results to S3 and sends Slack notifications.
